Problem
You are unable to run the remote support program: support.exe
Cause
Data execution prevention blocks Run.exe
Solution
1. Click: Start > Control panel
2. Run: System
3. Click: Advanced
4. Click: Performance > Settings
5. Click: Data Execution Prevention
6. Select: Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select
7. Select: Add and browse to the file support.exe
A prompt says that a reboot is required, but it seems to work without rebooting.
