Problem

You want to secure your payroll administration.

Cause

The Payroll4 database is installed on a shared computer or shared network, but only specific users should be allowed access to a company's payroll administration.

Solution

In Payroll4 each company's administration is stored in a separate database file. The name of the database file that belongs to a particular company can be found at "Company info. & Options".

Use Windows security to limit access to the database, by setting the Microsoft Windows security permissions for specific users to the database file.

Ask your system administrator for help in configuring the security permissions in Microsoft Windows.
