Lesson 7 - Send Reports by Email

With the email module in Payroll4, you can very easily email reports. With 1 click, you send every employee their own payslip, or email the monthly journal to the accountant. Sending a report via email is just as simple as printing a report, but without the waste of paper and time.

  1. Click on Report
  2. Select the desired report, time period, and employees
  3. Select the destination Email
  4. Click on OK

Before you can send emails, you must set up the email module for the first time.

  1. Uncheck Test mode
  2. Select an email program

    • Payroll4Mail sends your emails from noreply@payroll4mail.com

    • Custom SMTP Server can be used if you have your own website with your own SMTP server. Check with your system administrator what the correct SMTP server settings for your website are

    • Microsoft Outlook can be used if Microsoft Outlook is installed on your computer and you use it for reading and sending emails

    • Mozilla Thunderbird (recommended) is the most widely used free email program. Download Thunderbird here

  3. Click on OK
